Which inner pad should you choose for your cushion covers?
It has become almost a must in high end interior design, to overstuff
your cushion covers with feather inner pads. However, before you get
stuffing your luxurious new covers, there’s a couple of things you might
want to consider.

The obvious for people who suffer with allergies, a feather filled inner pad is simply not an option.
But for the die-hard interior buffs, feather filled is the only way to
go. The plumping, reshaping and clean up of the odd escaped feather,
seems to be a small ask for interior lovers. For some though, it’s an
extra task at the end of the day we just can’t face.
A synthetic inner, while having a slightly different look, holds its structure and will
more likely ‘bounce’ back into shape after use. This is of course, why
you can’t create the oh so trendy ‘Karate Chop V' with synthetic
fillers.
A good synthetic and feather pad offer about the same amount of support.
A feather inner, however, is more likely to mould to your shape. When
it comes to longevity - an inner pad will probably outlast its synthetic
equivalent.
