Sila is the designer/maker behind Beincoe.
She grew up in a huge botanical garden filled with various plant species. She loved watching the changing seasons and was always excited about seasonal crafts and making leaf prints and collages with shades of autumn leaves.
Her curiosity towards nature and her interest in creativity and design led her to study landscape architecture.
She wanted to create a "pause button" to stop the seasons from changing and let us see the fleeting beauties of nature anytime we want.
This is the idea that inspired her to create Beincoe. "Bein" means "beautiful, fair" and "coe" means "earth" in Noldor Elvish langue.
Everything nature creates is unique. Although each piece she makes is slightly different from others, you will have something truly one-of-a-kind handcrafted with care.
