Sibel Pekgöz has 23 years of experience at a traditional Art School in Turkey. She specialises in Ottoman ceramics, Iznik tile synthesis, Ebru paper art and silk scarves and is influenced by the detailed surface patterns of traditional Turkish tile art.

She is passionate about keeping traditional techniques alive. And as we love designs that tell a story, we’re inspired by how she is adapting traditional Turkish techniques into her exquisite, and charming ceramics.

Sibel has created an exclusive collection for Onacara with contrasting compositions of colour, geometric design, and intricate handpainted patterns which fit beautifully in the modern home.
